English Classes at The Community Place

Hello and Welcome to The Community Place English Classes.  We are so glad that you have found our web page and we hope to be able to welcome you to our Community Centre.

We host three free English Classes each week at The Community Place Kalinga and Stafford.  We understand how difficult it can sometimes be navigating your way through the many different and new experiences that you encounter when you move to a new country.  Getting to know the local culture and custom can often be a little overwhelming and fast paced.

Our classes are small and very welcoming to all new students, whether you have been in Brisbane or Australia for a month or even years - you will be welcomed with open arms to our friendly, supportive and fun groups.  You can join either our beginner or intermediate groups.

Benefits of coming along to an English Class at The Community Place?   We offer a very safe, happy and supportive space to come and improve your language, literacy and speaking.  There is a morning tea with lovely fresh coffee as well.  

Our classes will help to provide you with an understanding of all aspects of Australian culture and current events in a fun and small class environment.
